The 110 kV cable has successfully tested on November 28 in Zhejiang, marking that the cable laying in channel has completed and been ready for commissioning.

This 13.7-km cable has 18 cable connector wells with 3 single core cables and the total length was 41 km. It realized the transmission from offshore to mainland.

Before it, Dongtou only has two 35 kV transmission lines with the capacity of 36,000 kW, each one cut will result in serious power shortage, adding that the frequent typhoon resulted in the weak ability against the natural disasters and power supply stability.
